Here’s what’s new in Storbie this month. These updates are now live across Storbie production environments.
New Features
Stockist Tax Change
Tax settings now behave more intuitively in group website contexts:
- If a location has tax settings, they are used for its products when it acts as the stockist (order fulfiller).
- The first physical product fulfiller’s tax settings are used for shipping and payment gateway fees.
- If no location-specific tax settings exist, the group’s tax settings are applied.
RichText V2 & Insights V3 Always On
These features are now permanently enabled, ensuring consistent access to enhanced content editing and data insights.
Region-Aware Login Option
The Storbie login page now includes an option to log in to another region, helping customers who accidentally navigate to the wrong region's login page.
Bug Fixes
Bookings & Orders
- Removed “PREVIEW” label from the admin Bookings page.
- Fixed broken order tagging across all production environments.
- Bookings-only shops can now access the Orders page.
- Bookings now correctly appear in the Calendar Entries page.
Discounts & Subscriptions
- Product discounts now support decimal values.
- Recurring Orders now handle discontinued products differently:
- Create an order if at least one subscription product is available.
- Skip order creation if no products are available.
- Notify shop owners via email: “Not enough stock for one or more products in the subscription.”
- Fixed the issue preventing new subscriptions from being created.
Messaging & Forms
- Clarified default date search parameters in the Messages inbox.
- Fixed unexpected semicolon between fields in “Text Entry” content items in the Form Editor.
Shipping & Cart
- Fixed error in US group location when setting shipping profile to use group shipping methods.
- Resolved cart error when a promotion linked to the cart is deleted.
Visual & UX
- Theme-colored hyperlinks are now visible on dark backgrounds.
- Fixed the display of Products & Services using table gallery layout, which exposed the “Create New Product” button in live view.
Data & Redirects
- US Data Insights are now retained and refreshed correctly.
- Fixed broken In-Arrears public view (endless redirect).
- Production redirect server now performs permanent redirects.
Additional Fixes
- Transaction value now surfaces to the data layer on the checkout confirmation page—supporting Google Ads ROI tracking.
- Fixed duplicate product tags caused by double spaces in imports.
- Added logging for product import failures before worker task creation.
- Improved logging for sporadic import errors with no previous traceability.
