Shane BartleFounder and CEO
Shane founded his first software company while still at high school. While this didn’t help him get a girlfriend it was the beginning of a long love affair with making people‑friendly software. While building yet another online shopping site for a friend he realised that the only way that it was possible to have your own web shop was to shell out lots of cash or make friends with a geek. Who wants to do either of those? He hopes that you have as much fun using Storbie as it was to make and now nurture.
Tim ChristieFOUNDER AND DESIGNER
Tim is a graphic designer with a variety of experience having worked in creative rolls for a number of Wellington communication agencies. He has featured a number of times in the New Zealand Best awards and his work has been recognised by international awards shows and publications. Whilst his eye for detail has occasionally driven his colleagues mad with such demands as “can you move that half a pixel to the left?” the unfaltering quest for perfection typically translates into beautiful and functional design.
Andrew BartleFOUNDER AND DEVELOPER
Andrew’s love of technology is spurred by an industry that never stands still. He is a Microsoft certified developer with over 16 years of experience building websites and software for businesses throughout New Zealand. He is continually inspired by the clever and innovative products that business owners sell using the Storbie platform.
Chris BenhamCHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Chris has variety of experience in NZ and the UK in senior Strategic, Financial and Risk roles. Being a Chartered Accountant has provided Chris with the opportunity to work with growing companies in a variety of Strategic roles both in NZ and internationally. Chris is also a Director of international multi-award winning jewellery brand Inspired Jewellery Limited and Wilshi Limited. The fast growth of these companies has led to him recently winning the Young Leader of the Year Award by Jewellery News Asia.
Craig is the lead developer in the Storbie team. Fortunately, working with Shane in a previous job did not scare him off too much and he is now developing new features for Storbie. In his ‘out of Storbie time’ Craig tries to spend as much time as possible with his young family and also loves to get out into the outdoors, running, tramping and a bit of climbing.
Sam HowarthENTERPRISE SALES LEAD
Sam draws on nearly a decade of sales, relationship management and marketing experience to develop business success solutions for Storbie’s clients. Helping Kiwi businesses to be successful is what gets Sam out of bed each morning. That, and the encouraging cries from her young daughter. Sam has a love of endurance sport and is the Founding Honey of the “High Tea Honeys”, meaning she’s always up for a challenge and a cuppa.
Kendall ForbesMARKETING EXECUTIVE
Kendall first started out as a radio copywriter, and discovered that her way with words and love of social media (having joined back when MySpace was cool) created the perfect path to Marketing. Excited to engage with Storbie stores and marketplaces, Kendall manages newsletters, social media, and Storbie blogs.

Andy has been working for Storbie in a variety of roles since 2010. Now as Support & Partner Manager, Andy strives to provide the best possible support to Storbie stores and grow the Storbie Partner network. He has always been very passionate about technology and according to his parents, was able to use a computer before he could write!
Angelka VegarMARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS
Angelka started at Storbie in 2014, while she completed her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing and International Business. As a self-confessed online shopaholic, a marketing role at Storbie was the perfect fit! She enjoys learning about the businesses using Storbie and writing for the Storbie blog.
